Terms of use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you use politani.com, the Politani client portal, or the proposals, contracts and invoices we share with you online. The work itself is governed by the proposal and contract agreed for each project; where those documents and these terms differ, the project documents prevail.
01Who we are
The website and portal are operated by Politani Films Ltd, of 539a Garratt Lane, London SW18 4SR, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@politani.com.
02Using the website
You may browse the website and share links to it. Please do not try to disrupt it, access parts of it that are not meant for you, or copy its content in bulk. We may change or withdraw any part of the website at any time.
03Client portal and online documents
Access to the portal is given to named people at our clients. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
Proposals, contracts and invoices are shared through private links. Anyone with a link can open that document, so please forward them only to people in your organisation who need them.
04Proposals, contracts and payment
Accepting a proposal online confirms that you want us to go ahead on the terms it sets out. A contract signed electronically is as binding as one signed on paper.
Invoices are payable by the due date shown on them, to the bank account printed on the invoice. We will never ask you to pay into a different account by email; if you receive such a request, call us before paying.
05Intellectual property
The website, its design and the films and images shown on it belong to us or to the clients we made them for. Rights in work we produce for you are set out in your contract and pass to you as it describes.
06Third-party services
Some features rely on other providers, such as electronic signature and our accounting system. Their own terms apply to the parts of the service they provide. Our accounting integration is used only by our own team to keep our records in order.
07Liability
We work to keep the website and portal available and accurate, but we provide them as they are and cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law. Our liability for project work is set out in the contract for that project.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
09Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Questions are welcome at hello@politani.com.
